Florence J. Blankenship, 74, of Wadsworth, went home to be in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Messiah on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Hospice of Medina County. She was reunited in heaven through her passing, with her parents, Melvin and Ruth Welton; sister, Pattie Klusty; father-in-law, Jesse Blankenship; mother-in-law, Mary Blankenship; brothers-in-law, Benjamin Blankenship, Jesse Blankenship; sisters-in-law, June Blankenship, Ermogene Charnuk; and many close friends. She leaves behind a caring brother, Walter and sister-in-law Virginia Welton. She was a devoted wife of Paul G. for 53 loving years; and the loving faithful mother of Rebecca, Paul W. (Jr.), Beverly and son-in-law Richard Taylor of Murrysville, Pa.; brother and sisters-in-law, Vince and Patricia Pepe, Josephine Kirk, Ed and Nathalie Charnuk, Ralph Kirk; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

She was a founding member of the Cathedral of Tomorrow with Rev. Rex Humbard where she taught Sunday school for many years. Most recently she was a member of Valleyview Chapel in Wadsworth with Pastor Kevin Seagar. She supported many ministries over the years, and loved to listen to southern gospel music every chance she got, and was a life long resident of Wadsworth. She enjoyed many day trips to Ohio's Amish country. She and Paul loved their trip to Israel and had many wonderful memories from the trip. Florence was known for having never met a stranger. She will be deeply missed by family and countless friends until that day when we are all reunited in heaven.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, 9560 Acme Road, Seville.
