Robert Kammiller Obituary
He was born March 13, 1928, to the late Carl and Erna (Meyer) Kammiller in Lakewood, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice (Gaydash) Kammiller of 55 years and son, John Kammiller.
Robert was a graduate of Oberlin College and University of Pittsburgh Graduate School and a Diplomate in Fruedian Psychotherapy. He also served in the Korean War.
The family will receive friends 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Graveside services will be conducted by Minister Jim McClaren Saturday at 11 a.m. at North Ridgeville Fields Cemetery. Family has requested no flowers. Donations may be made to the Medina Co. Bernice & John,
My deepest condolences, Robert fought the good fight for a long time. I can assure you with absolute certainty that now that he has lain down his burdens a wonderful and glorious legacy awaits him. I will not mourn for Robert's fate, but only in that his passing creates a void that saddens and diminishes us all.
Return this man to God's breast
Beyond the wild, impartial skies.
Grant to him a hero's rest
And set the last spark of his eyes
Free from the smothering clouds of wars
Upon the torches of the stars.
Let the last surge of his breath
Take refuge in the cradling air
Above the dreams of mortals where
Only the eagle remembers death.
Then let his soul to God rise
Beyond these calmed, impartial skies.
