Dear Family,

Your mother was blessed with a beautiful family, and you with her. I spent many hours painting with her at CVAC, and on a painting trip to Ma. I will miss her smile, quaint humor, and her determination. Peace be with all of you.

I knew her and bought many of her paintings. Loved her studio and have my favorite hanging in my living room, "Life on Gossamer String", a magical water color of marionettes in which the string can be broken at any moment which she said was her philosophy of life. My condolences go to her family and friends, Dr. Kathleen E. Miller

Harriet was an inspiration. With her humor, and rasping voice, she would regale us with stories of her adventures with art and good friends. She always was willing to teach any willing learner. Many of us feel indebted to her for lessons we learned from her.--lessons for life and for art.
May the God of all comfort keep your hearts and minds at peace.-

Dear family of Harriet,

I was very fortunate to be introduced to Harriet by my Mom and the neighborhood ladies. Your Mom was an inspiration to all. I felt it an honor and priviledge to know her. Her quick wit, honesty and good soul made it a pleasure to be in her company. She will be fondly missed.
