Sylvia Moss Obituary
Sylvia Moss, 93 years old, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, September 8, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Sylvia was born September 2, 1924, in Copley, Ohio, to the late Herman and Patricia Lopez. She married and raised her family in Akron, Ohio. She attended the First Christian Church of Stow. Sylvia was a well- known local artist. She was a Signature member of the National Watercolor Society.
In addition to her parents; she was predeceased by Lewis Odell Moss, her husband of 70 years, and brothers, Kenneth Lopez, Jack Lopez, and Vincent Lopez. Sylvia is survived by sister, Patricia Jean (Richard) Livergood; four children and their spouses, Pat (Barbara) Moss, Vicki Stevens, Diane (Andrew) DiBartolomeo, and Lewis (Janet) Moss, Jr.; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Patrick Moss, Toni (Mike) Mervine, Jason Stevens, Emily (Todd Luecke) DiBartolomeo, Domenic (Mara) DiBartolomeo, Michael (fiancee Sara) Moss, Krista Moss, and Vincent DiBartolomeo; five great-grandchildren, Kylie, Quinn, Audrey, Charlie, and Louie; sisters-in-law, Mary Moss and Grace Lopez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio, 44224, followed by private funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Munroe Falls Fire Department/ EMS in honor of Sylvia Moss.
