The news of Debby's passing is so sad. My thoughts and prayers going up for the entire Parvin family. Rest In Peace, my friend.
PS - Pam's memorial was spot on. The Parvin women were the best softball players in town.

When I was 8 yrs old I joined our grade school fast pitch softball team. That's when I met the Parvin family. Debbie, the oldest sister was a yr older then me and played short stop. Penny was a yr younger then I and played 1st base. June was also on our team even though I don't think she was more then five. Their mom Wilma, was one of the coaches. I became the teams catcher. Our grade school infield played together for ten years into High School and was undefeated! One memory I'll never forget was a play that Debbie and I practiced for many years, but never got the chance to try until High School. Grade school teams knew us and they didn't steal bases often. If players are on 3rd and 1st, the girl on 1st would easily steal second or the one on 3rd would run home. The practiced play was to pretend to throw the runner going to second but instead Debbie runs towards me to cut the throw off and trap the 3rd base runner going home. So one day in a HS game I yelled Deb's name, be ready. She knew what I meant and we made the play. It worked perfectly and we threw the 3rd base runner out! We just smiled at each other knowing after all those years waiting to do that. It was a happy memory we shared and I will never forget.

I had the pleasure of being a coworker at Summit County Child Support. Words cannot express my sorrow. Debby's smile and kind words and she was always there for all of us.
On behalf of the Cook family, Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies. Our thoughts and Prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
