Dearest girl, I miss you still...and always.

Here's to you, dearest girl!
Gloria Jean Gerber was my beloved sister. She just happened to have different parents. After meeting at an art show almost twenty years ago, we shared martinis and laughter and unbearable losses over time. Knowing she was there always made it easier. She will forever be in my heart.
Kim and Vanessa, I'm so glad we had the chance to meet. She loved you and James so much and talked of you always. What a very special lady you were privileged to have as a mother and grandmother. My arms are around you.
Love,
Dorothy
