ThompsonSeptember 22, 1946-February 17, 2018 LAWTON Linda Rebecca (Becky) Thompson, 71, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, in Lawton. Becky was born September 22, 1946 to Idris Hightower Thompson and Willie Birdie (Cannon) Thompson in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She was a Lawton High School Class of 1965 Alumnus, and received her Bachelor of Arts from Cameron University in 1971. She loved English Literature. Becky worked in the Finance Office, and the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Sill, retiring in 2000. Becky loved old movies. She could tell you the history of any movie and give you a complete rundown on the lives of the actors. She was an encyclopedia of movie information. She adored cats, and spoiled every one she had. They were her babies. Becky leaves behind nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cherished friends that will miss her forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and two brothers. In keeping with Becky's wishes, no services are planned.
