I miss my great grandpa so much

I miss my Dad for many reasons. Some are: 1) he called me "baby" in such a tender way at the end of our phone conversations. Knowing he thought of me as his little girl was delightful. 2) calling him for emotional or spiritual support and asking him for suggestions for parenting or grandparenting issues I had or for other problems I had. 3) memories and pictures are so very precious to me. 4) God gave our family a "bonus blessing" when Dad and Sue visited PA recently.

I miss my Dad for several reasons and some of them are: how he called me "baby" as we were saying goodbye on our phone conversations (knowing he thought of me as his little girl was delightful), the emotional support he gave me when I called him and vented frustrations or spoke about my problems or asked him for suggestions on parenting and grandparenting. My memories of him and my pictures of him are so very precious. God gave our family a special "bonus blessing" when Dad and Sue visited PA recently.

I had just seen my Grandfather and Sue just 10 days before his departure. It was very good to seem him. I will cheerish the last hugs and kisses I recieved from him. My Grandfather was the most wisest man I knew. There was never a dull moment when he was around. A real spit fire! He could make anyone laugh. He was a very loving man and good friend to all. He has always greated me with a warm smile and a hug. Since he lived far away, I did not get to see him as often as I had wanted. He will most definitely be missed by me. I love him dearly.
