Edna Pfeifer Obituary
Born in Minoa on Nov. 6, 1927, Edna was a graduate of Sinclairville High School. A resident of the area since 1946, she married Glenn E. Pfeifer on Feb. 22, 1946 in Hickory Knolls, Oneida Castle. Mr. Pfeifer died Nov. 4, 2003.
Prior to her retirement, Edna was employed with the United States Postal Office in Wampsville and had previously been employed with Oneida Limited Silversmiths. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Community Church and the Durhamville Veterans Club Auxiliary.
Surviving are four daughters and three sons-in-law, Bonnie and Quentin Gamble of Ulysses, Pa., Patricia and Gerald Goff of Verona, Robin DeMaintenon and Shirley and James Ano, all of Durhamville; one son and daughter-in-law, Peter J. and Amy Jo Pfeifer of Cleveland; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Robert Hansen of Canastota and Toby and Alden Hansen of Sinclairville; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William Snyder and two sisters, Aleta Rice and Edie Snyder.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m., Friday at the family plot in West Verona Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Usborne, officiating. There are no hours of visitation. Contributions, in her memory, may be made New Hope Christian Community Church, West Road, Oneida, N.Y. 13421 or the Lutheran Care Center, 108-110 Utica Road, Clinton, N.Y. 13323. Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida.

Such a sweet lady! Always had opened arms, with a big hug. I know she's dancing up a storm. The celebration of life is ongoing in the heavenly of heavens.
