I loved being with Mrs. Seavey when Susan and I were young. I've told Susan how grateful I was to have her mom take me to Athens to the University of Georgia for my very first move-in. I can't recall how it happened that she was the one, but I do remember that she was sweet to do it! And she raised a beautiful family, three women who have gone on to raise beautiful families as well. Now, that's a legacy. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord.

Carol, sorry to read of your mom's passing in the paper this morning. She was a sweet mom and raised three beautiful daughters. My mom also passed from Alzheimer's on Jan. 10. We were both blessed to be raised in good families with loving parents. God bless you and your sisters

I fondly remember Mary Ann ... she was such an awesome life partner of Dr. Seavey's. A life well lived and shared.
