GEHRIS, III, ARTHUR HENRY 'GARY', Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Henry 'Gary' Gehris, III of Daytona Beach, FL who died on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at his residence will be held at 3PM on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at the Ormond Funeral Home, 733 West Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL with Rev. Larry Kirk officiating. Visitation will be from 1PM until service time. Gary was a retired attorney, local businessman and an entrepreneur. He graduated from the University of Miami and the University of Florida Law School. He was a member of the Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach and moved to the area in 1975 from Gainsville, FL. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. He enjoyed his family, fishing and writing. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur H. Gehris, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Karin Gehris, of Daytona Beach, FL; sons, John, of Newport Beach, CA, Rick, of San Diego, CA and Burl, of Daytona Beach, FL; stepsons Todd Boos, and Darrell Boos both of Michigan; stepdaughter, Jill Birmingham, of Orlando, FL; mother, Virginia Gehris, Boynton Beach, FL; sisters, Marsha Swanson, of Plantation, FL, Linda Farmer of Marietta, GA; and six grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations to go to the Christ Community Church, 329 Williamson Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, in his memory. Lankford Funeral Home of DeLand, FL, is in charge of arrangements. 386-734-2244.
