Diane Fuller

1959 - 2016

Fuller, Diane received the gift of eternal life on Saturday, September 17, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on June 25, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents Doug and Lucile Fuller. She is survived by her brother Doug Fuller (Pat Cochran), sister Gail Fuller, fiancé Ron Baker and her faithful, beloved yellow lab, Taylor. Diane graduated from Cleveland High School in 1977. She was active in her church, Broad Street United Methodist, where she was a member of the children's and youth choirs and the youth group. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1981 with a degree in Business Administration. After college she attended the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Georgia. Departing Tennessee for a new adventure, she moved to Florida and worked as a paralegal for over 30 years at the law firm of Fisher Rushmer, P.A. Diane loved football, especially the Tennessee Vols. She enjoyed UT games throughout her life - Go Big Orange! She tolerated her UF Gator friends. Throughout Diane's life, material things were not her source of happiness; Diane collected friends instead. She was loved and cherished by a wide array of friends who will miss her terribly. She was known as "Aunt Diane" to a number of her friends' children, and loved them as if they were her true nieces and nephews. A woman of grace, charm and wit, Diane had a wonderful laugh and a great sense of humor. She loved UT sports, Rocky Top, white sandy beaches, margaritas and key lime pie, but not necessarily in that order. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her and we cannot imagine our lives without her. We will remember her sweet smile, amazing sense of humor and her love of family and friends. She will live on through all of the people whose lives she touched. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Habitat for Humanity or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, 106 E. Church St. on Saturday, October 8 at 10:00 a.m.
