RIP Big Guy...just heard of your passing today. You were my online professor and then you employed me!!! Took a risk as we all knew you have done for many. My time working for you in CP was such a happy time including World Junior Hockey which my son also got to enjoy! Helene became the head of the Law Clerk program which I graduated from. I will miss you dearly...you taught me a lot...especially how to laugh. Xo

Dear Helene,

I am so very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. His laughs were contagious and his good spirit unflagging. I will never forget that you guys gave me my first job working for your law firm on Merivale Rd! Or maybe it was babysitting the twins. I also remember the peals of laughter I heard when you celebrated the end of law exams with my parents. You and Dave were always so positive, and you helped us cope through some challenging times.

Much love to you and the kids, lisa

Dearest Helene.... David was the first lawyer and mentor to take me under his wing in the workplace at HMcG&B from 1990 to 1995 when I then moved away to Victoria BC. I've always remembered you both after all these years, and I am sincerely saddened to hear of David's death. Please accept my sincere condolences at this time.
