(nee Bourdeau)
1954 - 2017
Passed away surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on March 16, 2017 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Robert, cherished mother of Frédéric (Christina) and Mathieu as well as loving grandmother of Julien and Penelope. Family and friends are invited to visit at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Saturday, March 25 from 11 a.m. A prayer service will follow at 12 p.m. Special thanks to Lyse Edward and family, Dr. Roanne Segal, Dr. D. Vincent, Dr. G. Michael for their support and excellent care. Donations in Joanne's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation or Hospice Care Ottawa (May Court Hospice).

My most sincere condolences to Robert and the family. I had the absolute pleasure to work with Johanne at the start of my telecom career. She was a terrific mentor. Her contagious laugh got me giggling every time! She will be missed.
