Stanislaw KURYLOWICZ Obituary
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, December 13, at the age of 92. Loving husband of 62 years to Stella Kurylowicz. Cherished father of Stan (Lynda) and Christine (Steve). Loving Dziadziu of Jasia (Mike), Elisa, Janusz (Jessy), Krysia and Mitchell. Great-Grandfather to Rowan. Predeceased by his parents Josephina and Kazimierz of Poland. Friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Friday, December 16th from 3-5 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A mass in memory of Stanislaw will be held at St. Hyacinth Roman Catholic Church, 201 LeBreton Street on Saturday, December 17 at 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. Reception will follow the burial at Dom Polski, 379 Waverley Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Hyacinth Parish for an accessibility ramp. Unfortunately, we did not learn of Mr. Kurylowicz's death until Christmas Day. We were saddened, thinking nostalgically of those Sunday afternoons at your house in the Glebe 50 years ago. Time and events may have separated us, but we now join you in your grief for the loss of this kind man who truly was a gentleman. Our aunt, Bronislawa Tymczyszyn, joins us in extending our condolences.

My sympathies to you both, Chris and Stan, on the death of your Dad. My memories of him while he worked and I taught at Ridgemont HS are still fresh. I remember the many times we talked about many things ( including you Chris ). He was a wonderfully knowledgeable person and a true and decent gentleman. You were very lucky to have him as your father.
