HARIK, Youssef Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, February 16, 2004 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Salwa Hajjar for 55 years. Loving father of Rose Noujaime (Antoine), Souhail Harik (Marguerite), Suzanne Skaff (Robbie), Madelaine Hanna (Antoine), Michel Harik (Katia). Predeceased by his beloved daughter Amal Raffoul and his sisters Mariam and Rahigi Sayegh and survived by his sister Hassibi Sayegh of Lebanon and many nieces and nephews. Cherished Jido of 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Remembered by the Hajjar, Sayegh and Hamui families. Special thanks to Dr. Hubsch and Dr. Naim and all the Doctors and Nurses at the General Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Friends may pay respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy Thursday 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 1161 River Road. Interment Hope Cemetery. Memoriam donations to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Intensive Care Unit and the Division of Oncology would be appreciated by the family.
