Suddenly in Thunder Bay, Ontario on Thursday, June 20, 2013, aged 32 years. Dearly loved son of Diane Field (Ralph) and Douglas Banks (Dolly). Loving brother of Kristy Banks (Ryan O'Hagan). Step-brother of Kory, Kelly and Kerry Maheral. Step-uncle to Ally. Shawn will be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may pay their respects at the

Shawn was one of my son Eric's best friends during school and consequently he spent quite a bit of time at our house. I got to know Shawn quite well and really liked him. I don't believe that he had a mean bone in his body. He was a pleasure to be around and the world is a poorer place without him.

I am so sorry for your loss everyone. He was my best friend in highschool. He was one of the nicest people I ever knew. The world has lost a great spirit that only comes around once in awhile. I worked with Shawn for his full career at Beverly Caulking. He was a great worker and a outgoing person. Shawn was always very polite and he had a great spirit. He will truly be missed at our company. I wish Shawn's family and friends my dearest condolences, I am so sorry for your loss.
