known to her friends as Huggie, passed away peacefully at her home in Delray Beach on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was 92. Born Huguette Suzanne Marie Philomene on April 4, 1920 in Paris, France, to Lucien Joseph Henri Boudet and his wife Suzanne Henriette Charlotte Boudet. In 1945 she made the United States her home, and after a successful career in fashion, she married Henry J. Brock in 1962. They lived in Mendham, NJ and Osterville, MA before moving to Village of Golf, FL in 1979. Mrs. Brock was predeceased by her loving husband Henry in 1998 and her stepson Hank in 2010. She is survived by her brother, Alain Boudet and his wife Ginette of Lauris, France; a step daughter, Babette Alfieri of Santa Fe, NM and Zambia, Africa; a step daughter, Mary Merton of Essex, CT; a step daughter, Nita Brock of Santa Rosa, CA; three grand children, Marc Merton, Christina Alfieri and Christopher Merton, and six great grandchildren. A Celebration of Mrs. Brock's life will be held at Harbour's Edge, 401 E. Linton Blvd., Delray Beach, FL at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Donations may be made in her name to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Rd. Boca Raton, FL 33486. Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, Delray Beach is in charge of arrangements.
