Family-Placed Funeral Notice

MILLARD A. SAMS Age 78, of Lake Worth, Florida died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at his home. Mr. Sams was an area resident since 1974, coming from Kentucky. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea and was an accomplished musician. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his wife, Karen S. Sams, daughter, Margie Montgomery, two sisters, Jean Hoskins, Bonnie Carmichael, brother, Kenneth Sams, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, July 21, 2007 at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, the Reverend Wayne Padgett presiding. The family will receive relatives and friends 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home, Burial with full military honors will be 9:30 AM Monday, July 23, 2007 at the South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth. It has been an honor and a pleasure to have known Millard Sams, and to have been exposed to his love of music. His stories, anecdotes and tales could make me chuckle, he was always happy to sit down and have a chat. I will miss Millard and he will always occupy a spot in my heart.
