JOHN G. VOGELJohn G. Vogel, 83, of Vero Beach, died December 16, 2010 at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth, MA. He was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years coming from Scituate, MA. Mr. Vogel served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.He was a Sales Representative for the former Emery Industries in Cincinnati, OH, retiring in 1989. Mr. Vogel was an avid tennis player and was an active parishioner of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Mr. Vogel is survived by his daughter, Kathryn M. Vogel of Weymouth, MA; brother, Richard Vogel of Charleston, SC; grandson, Christopher Vogel of Weymouth, MA; nephews, Christoph and Peter and a niece, Sabrina. Mr. Vogel was preceded in death by his wife, Rosaleen Beckingham Vogel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Mr. Vogel.
