Richard KILE Obituary

KILE, Richard L. "Rick"

Richard L. "Rick" Kile, born October 15, 1965 in West Palm Beach, FL, died September 18, 2013 in Ohio. Predeceased by brother, Kevin. Valued son of Charles and Charysse Kile of Anderson, IN, and Garnet and Jim Picking of Sugarloaf Key, FL. Beloved father of Kara and Kevin. Stepbrother of Kim Laster, Karen Dooms and Kimberly Plummer. Married June 06, 1992 to Beth Corriveau. From age 10 to 19 he lived in the Florida Keys, thoroughly enjoying the benefits of that lifestyle and making many friends along the way. Rick graduated from Key West High School class of 1982. He was a gifted finish carpenter and reached his prime while operating Kile Enterprises in Lake Worth, FL. Rick savored riding his Harley and was a whale of a free diver. No earthly father loved his children more and they returned that love, which was his most cherished asset. Rick is greatly mourned by Aunt Luana and Uncle Scott Roof; cousins, Kim and Austen (Kristie) Roof, seven nieces and nephews, all the Picking Family, Corriveau Family, and many friends, including Kenny, Brian, Robert and Ron and Carol. In his own way, Rick has found the true peace that only God can provide. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM November 23, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 4460 Lyons Road, Lake Worth, FL.

We were saddened to learn about Rick's passing. He was a good neighbor and a nice guy with a sweet family. He was very talented having built their home across the street from us. He was definitely a part of the neighborhood and always waved from his yard having a smile to share. It was always enjoyable chatting with Rick for he was easy to talk to. Our sympathies and prayers go out to Beth and the kids for peace and closure. Love, hugs and prayers for all of you.

I was shocked to read that Rick had passed. We were co workers in the late 80's to early 90's. He was a really nice guy, and a proud father. I had not seen him for qutie a few years when I ran into him while our sons were on opposing teams in football in 2004. Then saw that he lived down the street from a friend of mine. I would stop by and talk to him whenever I saw him outside when passing by. My condolences to Beth and the kids. A good man has left this earth. R.I.P. my friend.
