John EGITTO Obituary
It is with heavy hearts to say that Dr. John Egitto lost his battle with cancer on March 19, 2015. He had amazing will and fought hard to live. He was in practice in North Palm Beach for nearly 40 years. His greatest joy beside his family was being a Dentist. It showed in his dedication, care and love of his patients. Equally to treating his patients he loved telling a joke; he had a new one for each visit. His laughter could be heard thru out the office and often times the whole staff would join in with the laughing, not because they heard the joke, but from his contagious laugh. His will be sorely missed. Although there will never be another Dr. John, Dr. Mike Egitto and soon to be Dr. Anthony Sconzo (nephew of Dr. John and Dr. Mike) will continue with Dr. John's legacy. His legacy and spirit will forever be in our hearts and a part of our office. Services were held March 22, 2015. Memorial donations may be made to Furry Friends Adoption and Clinic, 401 Maplewood Dr., Jupiter, FL 33458, and Place of Hope, 9078 Isaiah Lane, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418.

I join with omy sincere condolences at this thers in sharing news of John's passing. His uncle brought me home with my parents when I was born in 1947. Later, we both attended New Utrecht HS in Brooklyn, NY. Who would have supposed that one day, we both would be settled in Palm Beach County, FL. Sadly, while residing there, we never met. The pity of missed opportunities!
Now, with this news of John's passing, I reflect on the years gone by and silently pray the blessings of Peace and sweet repose for an exemplary man. Sleep dear John, sleep and know you are home and we still love you while we remain to carry on.

You will be missed, you were an amazing man and dentist, you were great at making everyone feel comfortable and always had a smile. I will always remember playing racquetball with you and your father it was always a challenge especially for me being on your fathers team LOL. God bless your family and I will never forget you, see you in heaven.

God bless you Dr John. God chose you because you were the best at all you did and your compassion to everyone you touched was needed in heaven. You were by far the the most talented DMD I've ever met and I followed all advice and treatment you prescribed. We will miss you here but with our faith, look forward to meeting again in heaven. My sincere condolences go to the entire Egitto family on the passing of dear John, one of the kindest and most considerate man I have ever known. I am heartbroken that only today did I find out the terrible news. He was the last patient I had in my office before retiring last June and he has been in my mind and my prayers ever since. I will miss his smile, his laughs, his jokes, his hand on my shoulder, the glint in his eyes, his gentleness and the pride he took in his family. Rest in peace friend.

Dr. John, you were the best as a dentist and as an awesome human being in this life. I can't imagine what kind of Cain you are raising on your new channel of everlasting existence.
