Christine Ann Buckner/McLachlan
Aug 31,1949- July 6th, 2018

On Friday July 6th, 2018 at approximately 12:29 pm Christine Ann Buckner McLachlan passed away after a long battle with COPD.

Chris was born in Hutchinson, Kansas and later moved to Salt Lake City were she attended High School. Shortly after she had two kids, Russ and Jon, moved to Park City and eventually to Heber City where she lived in the same red brick house she bought in 1975.

Our mother Chris loved more then anything to spend time with her family and friends. Many a summer day and eventually evening were spent at the Park City ballpark watching the Bums play the Outlaws or watching the Muckers battle. Later retreating to the Alamo to toast the teams. Growing up in PC in the 70's and 80's we seemed to travel in a pack with great life long friends and family. We are proud to say our mom was still good friends with all her chums from that era. She had a big heart and even through her illness was always concerned about others.

Chris worked many years in both PC and Heber. She spent the majority of her career working at the Park City Ski Area both in at the Sports Desk and later at the Mid Mountain Shop. She was an avid reader and loved to watch cooking shows.

Chris will be survived by her two boys, Russ and Jon (Cindy). Her three grandchildren Keetley, Tyler and Piper. Her dad, Harold Buckner, brother David (Linda) and her two surviving sisters, Gloria (Argan) and Barb (Kim) as well as a many nieces and nephews and her beloved German Shepard Abby. She will be welcomed into hereafter by her mother, Virginia, her long time Parkite sister Jan Buckner as well as many great friends that have passed before Virg, Kenny, Brian and Michael just to name a few.

Christine per her request will be cremated and her ashes spread in the Heber Valley at a later time.
