R. Ford Obituary

PASTOR R. ELDEN FORD Pastor & Teacher On October 26, 2006 Pastor R. Elden Ford passed away peacefully at his home in Loma Linda. Pastor Ford was a missionary in Central America for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for 48 years. From 1943 to 1991 he worked in, Honduras, Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, and lastly in El Salvador. During those years he served as pastor and Mission President, however the majority of his time he was as teacher and director of boarding schools in Honduras, Belize and El Salvador. In 1992 Pastor Ford and his wife retired to Loma Linda. He is survived his wife, Venessa S., four children, Robert of Redlands, Kathleen of Bend, OR., Patricia Rose of Loma Linda, Daniel of Granite Bay, CA., and four grandsons, Bryan, Colby, Daniel and Matthew. The Memorial Service will be on November 19, 2006 at 4 pm. at the Campus Hill Church in Loma Linda, 11057 Hill Dr. Internment will be at Montecito Memorial Park, in Colton. Instead of flowers the family suggests a memorial donation. Indicate that it is for the Worthy Student Fund for "ECAS" (Escuela de Capacitacion Adventista Salvadorena), the boarding Academy in El Salvador.
