Pete S. Rojas

1944 - 2018

PETE S. ROJAS Pete passed away on August 31, 2018 at the age of 74 surrounded by his loving wife, children and family members. Pete was born on February 6, 1944 in Corona, California. Pete attended local Corona schools including Lincoln Elementary, Corona Jr. High and Corona High School. He graduated in 1962. Pete attended Chaffey College before getting his Landscaping Contractors License in 1970 and became a self-employed businessman. During this time, he started Select Landscaping Company. Pete also owned and operated Home Gardens Nursery (later renamed Five Star Nursery), he was a professional landscaper before retiring in 2015. Pete is survived by his wife Mary Jane Rojas; daughter Elaine Castillo and son-in-law Richard; son Pete E. Rojas and his partner Dawn Cox; son David A. Rojas and daughter-in-law Rhonda. Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 22, 10:00 a.m. at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona, CA along with a Graveside Service, 12:00 p.m. at Sunnyslope Cemetery in the Serenity Garden. A Celebration of Life / Reception will follow.
