Dear Edra,
Hamilton Smith just informed me of Norm's passing. I am so sorry to have missed the service this morning. I loved singing for Norm in the Perdido Bay UMC choir especially our Wednesday night rehearsals. He was a masterfull conductor, blessed with the skill and most the time patience to get to get a bunch of average voices to produce magnificent anthems. I think at times he was quite proud of use. I consider my time with him a blessing and also a damn good time. I'll miss the stories and jokes but know we'll be reunited again sooner or later in that big choir in the sky.

Edra and family - You are in special thoughts and prayers, as we all face the tuff fact of our lives without "stormin/strummin Norman" JETER = the flyin muscian... a fun fellow, who is smilin still, cause i can't be there to carry his coffin, so i won't get to raise an adult beverage toast to him at Mustin this week - but i'll bet i hear him laugh from the here-after, when i raise a toast at Mustin O'club as soon as I return...
