I would like to express my sincere sorrow in hearing of Norman Hughes passing. I worked in Mr. Hughes shop back in the late 80's prior to transferring to MCAS, Cherry Point. I thank you Mr. Hughes for your patience and understanding in allowing me the opportunity to become an aircraft mechanic. This is a sad day for all the folks that have met you alone the way. We will keep the family in our prayers.

Truly a faithful man of God's peace and grace with a servant's heart. A faithful husband to Sandy, who is a great gift to Norm! We will miss you Gentle giant. He is probably on the tennis court with Jesus now!

The Family of Norman, I was sad to read about his death. We grew up together in the downtown Pensacola area. He was a great guy! I was just thinking about him the other day as I went thru some of my memory books and ran across an invitation from him to an old neighborhood reunion. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

My heart goes out to your family. His life touched so many - though we only met at Eric & Teresa's wedding, I always heard about the fun times Mel & Stu, Eric & Teresa, Sandy & Papa had and all the adventures and family gatherings. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. The world has lost a very special person, but heaven gained a new angel!
