I am so glad to have known Pappy. He was one of a kind. He will truly be missed. I listened to him on the radio every Saturday. I know that he is in heaven singing. Singing and playing his guitar. He sung and dedicated a lot of his songs to me on his radio program.

I will miss you so much, Paw Paw. I could never thank you enough for the greatest childhood memories you and grannie gave me. You were the best grandpa in the world. I light this candle in rememberance of you because I have held a candle to you all these years I was blessed to have you in my life. Your the greatest man I have ever known. Tell Grannie how much I have missed her and how I miss painting her nails. You two showed me so much love, more love than any granddaughter could have had. Thank you for all the love you have shown me. I love you so much!

We know you're in a better place now pappy. I'll never forget you always wanting me to sing four days late and how it always blessed you. Not because it was me singing but because of the message in it. Rest in peace pappy.

I can remember some fond memories of growing up in Pappy's church. My mother Dot Canada took me to church with her and Pappy was the first preacher I ever saw who would preach and do a handstand at the same time. I have some very fond memories of the singing and worshiping at his church. I remember many days spent at the radio station while my mother and you sang together. You and your harmonica and her Banjo. May you sing and do handstands before Jesus now. God be with your family and friends.
