BENT, Stephanie Patrice (Morris) Born March 21, 1946, to Bertrand J. Morris Jr. and G. Irene (Stanley) Morris, in the City of Orange, Orange County, in southern California. She died on December 31, 2017 at the age of 71. She came to call Petaluma home in 1971 moving with husband Don from Eureka, California. They were married in Downey, California in 1968. She was graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1963, Downey, California. She worked as a Dental Assistant, Switchboard Operator, Sale Representative prior to her marriage to Don. Upon moving to Petaluma, she work as the Administrative Assistance to the Director, San Francisco Division, Corp of Engineers; started her own sewing business "Sewing by Stephanie"; was employed by the Petaluma School District as an Assistant Music Instructor, part time Administrative Help at McDowell Elementary School before moving to Kenilworth Junior High School where she supported Special Education and managed the IHS program. She was a Life Time Member of the Girl Scouts, United States, and was active until her dead in the North Coast Chapter, Northern California Region of Girl Scouts. She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church, Petaluma, and served as their Hand Bell Director. She also served as the Hand Bell Director Two Rock Valley Presbyterian and First Presbyterian Churches. Stephanie had served as Secretary and was currently a Director on the Board of the Northern California Region, Rolls Royce Owners Club. She as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Presidio Chapter. She was the recipient of many awards from the Girl Scout; Rolls Royce from National and Northern California Region level and Certificates of Appreciations from Department of Defense for her patriotic civilian support and service. She is survived by her husband, Donald Bent; her son, Nathen Bent; her daughter Jennifer Inden; her granddaughters Olivia Inden and Jocelyn Bent and grandson Archer Inden, all of Petaluma. Rand Morris, her brother, of Indian Wells, California. A Celebration of Life for Stephanie will be held at Elim Lutheran Church, Petaluma, on the 24th of February at Two O'clock in the afternoon.
