We were all so upset when we heard of Bo's passing.
There are 2 things that come to mind when we think of Bo.
seeing him listening to frank sinatra before the games started...we always got a kick out of that...and we will always think of him in our household as the best little league baseball coach....he managed to make every kid feel special...we still have the book he put together for each player at the end of the season.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you mark and marie..
In sympathy...The Davidow Family

Dear Bo,
This is Billy and I hope wherever you are that you can somehow hear me. We have known each other since we were 5 years old in kindergarten at St. Rita's School. We have done so many things together while growing up as kids in South Philadelphia that I cannot believe you are gone. I keep hoping that I will wake up from this dream and all this sadness that I am feeling will go away. I have waited 3 days and now realize that this is no dream! I will never forget our days of playing ball in the streets of South Philly and dancing on Saturday nights at the weekly Bishop Neumann Dance. How we loved to go to that dance. Remember when we would steal a glass of wine before the dance so we would have the courage to ask the girls to dance? Remember how happy we were when we would come home from the dance with a girl's phone number. You always seemed to get the pretty girls and I always seemed to get the "not so pretty" ones. I will remember the proms that we attended together and those difficult days that we had while studying all night to get through medical school. I became a Podiatrist because of you. I wanted to be more like you. Remember the double date we went on in Uncle Gus's old Nash Rambler? Remember how the back seats would recline? Remember the night the brakes gave out and we crashed into the snow bank on 13th and Market? We were so scared that Gus would be mad at us....but we laughed and laughed so much that night that tears were coming out of our eyes. That was many, many years ago and I find myself once again with tears. How about the time you caught the pass and scored the winning touchdown that won the game for St. Rita's back in 1962. We were all very proud of you that day. Bo, I could go on and on with stories about us but it is painful to look back and it hurts. I think it is time for me to say Good bye now with the hope that when I join you one day we can have more fun times once again in another life. I am going to miss you Bo and I will always treasure the memories that we made together. Till we meet again in another place, try to rest in peace and we will try our best to get along down here without you. Love ya babe.......Billy

My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Marie, son Mark and Mom.
He was a wonderful, and fun person to know personally, and as a co-worker at 2317 Medical Center. He was kind and compassionate and all of his patients loved him. This is a huge loss to everyone who knew and loved him .Barbara Damico

A tragic loss for so many of us. Bo left his mark on the community and the boys he so passionately mentored during his many years of coaching in Cherry Hill. He not only taught baseball but life's lessons as well. What a wonderful human being who will be sorely missed.
