Carolyn Wimer Obituary
Norfolk - Carolyn S. Wimer, 79, passed away June 26, 2018.
Born in Suffolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Elizabeth Sykes. She graduated from Norview High School and the Norfolk Division of William and Mary. She sold Avon products for over 30 years and loved doing crafts, which she loved to gift to others.
Left to cherish her memory: her children, William R. Wimer, Jr., (Susan) and Laurie Locklear (Stephen).
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lee's Friends or a hospice of your choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com

Bill and Laurie - I remember your parents so well.... they were active members of Trinity for a long time.... I'm not sure when we lost contact with your Mom.... we've had so many changes in pastors in the last 5 years or so..... I know Carolyn was on our visiting list at one time..... Sharyn & Ken Leiding, who are our head deacons, are out of town on vacation..... I will make sure they and the people of Trinity hear about your Mom..... she is fondly remembered. Sharon Plawin
