Sarah Zecca Obituary
Virginia Beach - Sarah Joanne Zecca passed away peacefully on September 30, 2012. Her husband Steve and son Adam were at her side holding her hand.
Sarah was born on October 22, 1955, and for the last five months fought a courageous battle with cancer. Sarah was an attorney for Dominion Law Associates for the last 25 years. An avid reader, Sarah was involved with Reading Enriches All Children (REACH) as a read-aloud volunteer, board member and board president.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Joan Zecca and is survived by her husband of 32 years Steve, son Adam and daughter-in-law Katie.
A celebration of her life will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at 1485 Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach on Sunday, October 7 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to REACH at 809 Brandon Avenue Suite 208 Norfolk Virginia 23517.

It was a blessing to get to know Sarah for nine years while working at DLA. I met her at the courthouse on several occasions and she was very knowledgeable about her job! Sarah and I kept in touch and I am thankful for that! She will forever be in my thoughts!

Sarah was a gifted attorney and wonderful woman. I will miss discussing our TN and KY rivalry during football season. I'm happy KY won just for her last year. But I will miss more the encouragment and mentoring she gave me as I studied for the bar exam. I hope to one day be half as good an attorney as she was. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, including me. My most sincere condolences to her family.
