William White Obituary
Chesapeake - William H."Bill" White, Jr. departed this life on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his residence. He was the son of the late William H. White, Sr. and Margaret C. Morrow. He was born in Portsmouth, VA and attended I.C. Norcum High School and Norfolk State University. He served in the US Marine Corp and received the Compact Action Ribbon Purple Heart for his service in the Vietnam War. He retired from Norfolk Southern Corporation. He is survived by 4 sons William, III (Sherra´)of Charlotte, NC, Simeon of Portsmouth, VA, Thomas of Atlanta GA, and Ryan of Bronx, NY ,one sister Beverly Bass of Greensboro, NC, one aunt Ruth Howell of Portsmouth, VA, grandson William, IV, two nephews and a host of relatives and friends. A viewing will take place on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, and the funeral service will take place in the chapel on Friday May 26, 2017 at 10:00am at Metropolitan Funeral Services Portsmouth, VA.

(Bae Bro-deceased), Brenda & Reginald Wilson. We used to go to Aunt Ruth's house back in the day. Please give our deepest condolences to Beverly, Aunt Ruth & William's sons. We will be praying for you.
