PEORIA - Dorothy L. Stoller, 98, formerly of Wyoming, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Apostolic Christian Skylines in Peoria.
Dorothy was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Strawn, Ill., the daughter of Will and Mollie Streitmatter Perdelwitz. She married Floren E. Stoller on Nov. 26, 1939, in Princeville at the Apostolic Christian Church. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1995.
Surviving are one daughter, Sherry K. (Kenneth) Sauder of Washington, Ill.; one son, William J. (Kathleen) Stoller of Princeville, Ill.; one granddaughter, Kristina (Ben) Luginbuhl of Bloomington; one grandson, Jason (Rebekah) Stoller of Eureka, Ill.; six great-grandchildren, Cade, Cole and Charis Luginbuhl and Sage, Clay and August Rio Stoller; and two sisters, Esther Rinkenberger of Peoria and Florence Tribley of Texas.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Apostolic Christian Skylines, UnityPoint Hospice and the private duty nurses provided by Sharon Hodel, for the compassionate care they gave Dorothy during her stay.
Dorothy was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Princeville, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today, March 23, 2015, at Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Princeville, and from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Princeville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian Skylines Staff Assistance Fund.
