Condolence to the entire Austin Family,
What a life lived in a short span of time! He had a rough exterior, very disciplined, but a kind heart. He worked, it seemed, 25 hours a day always doing something and willing to conversate on almost anything. Be comforted dear family and allow your beautiful memories to make you smile when you think of him. He is gone from us, but never will be forgotten! Rest well, Officer Austin!

Officer Austin (we called him Kojak behind his back) was genuine and cared for everyone at Emerson. His presence, discipline, dignity, humor and ability to relate created a safety net of security for all of us. I believe in my heart that he is now being blessed for his work in heaven.

To the family,

Charles is at peace. Think of the good times and smile. For comfort read Ecclesiastes 3:1-15,17,19,20,22. Austin and I also both worked school city as well. May The Creator bring you peace during this time.
