James Henry Kirk

James Henry Kirk, age 76, born on October 10, 1944, in Dyersburg, TN. He made his transition peacefully Wednesday, May 19, 2021. He accepted the lord Jesus Christ in 2014. He joined Deliverance Temple COGIC with sister Jessie who has been a member for 41 years under Bishop E. Bobby Warren. He enjoyed participating in the Praise and worship. He was a faithful member until his health began to fail. He loved cooking, washing cars, watching old movies, listening to Christian music and watching wrestling. His beloved sister shared with him the importance of salvation and living for Jesus Christ. He was born to James & Jessie Kirk. He was preceded in death by father James Henry Kirk and mother Jessie R. Kirk, sister Peggie Joe Mitchell, brother Charles Kirk and great nephew Freddie Wynne III. He leaves to cherish his memories beloved sister and caregiver Jessie L. Wynne, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation Friday, May 28, 2021, from 10-11:00am with funeral services to immediately follow at 11:00am all at the Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ, 3476 Virginia St. Officiating Bishop E. Bobby Warren. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Masks are required.
