LaQuita Darniece (Cole) Bell was born April 10, 1975 in Gary, IN to Lenwood and Karen Cole. She in the Gifted & Talented program with The Gary Community School Corporation. She graduated from St. George's School in New Port, Rhode Island in 1993. She then graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in African American Studies. She was currently employed at the Division of Family Resources as a Sate Eligibility Consultant in Lafayette, IN. On April 15, 2021, LaQuita stepped into eternity and was greeted by her father, Lenwood Cole; Brother, Antoine; Grandfather, Joseph H. Duncan Sr, and Uncle Joseph H Duncan Jr. LaQuita leaves to forever cherish her memory; Husband, Michael; Sons, Malik and Jalen; Daughter, Dai Monique; Step-daughter, Asia; 4 sisters; Erica, Angie, Kiana, and Vanisha; 1 brother, Darvel; mother, Karen (Duncan) Cole; step-mother, Lorraine Cole; grandmother, Antoinette M. Duncan; 2 devoted uncles; 5 loving and supportive aunts; and many special cousins, loved ones, and friends. Visitation will be Saturday April 24, 2021 from 9-2:00p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. All services at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 West 11th Ave Gary, IN 46404.
