My condolences to the Family. I met Ms. Mamie at the Fantastic Finishing Quilting Guild, she was very patient and a good teacher.

Aunt Mamie was a true Matriarch. As a child every time I saw her I would say “Aunt Mamie when I grow up I want to be just like you.” As an adult my dream is still the same. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. I can remember her and my grandmother and Aunt Minnie talking, reminiscing and their laughter filling the house. You will truly be missed. Rest on til we meet again. Praying for our families continued strength.
