Mrs. Stokes has a special place in my heart. Mrs. Stokes played an important part of my life with her ENCOURAGING words. I heard of stories where she exhibited courage strength and faith. But then I saw first hand of these qualities which was embedded in her. No matter the circumstances she never gave up. She passed those gifts on to her son- my significant other William Stokes Jr. whom the family calls "lil Bill". William says constantly my momma said there's no such thing as "I CAN'T". Mrs. Stokes gave me words of encouragement in my darkest moments. I'm gonna miss our early morning talks and stories of lil Bill while we drank coffee and her awesome pound cakes she would have ready when William and I arrived to visit her. I so appreciate her opening her door to me and always making me feel at home. My coffee partner and A WOMAN OF GOD who never gave up will be dearly missed. My condolences to the family. I love you Mrs. Stokes. With all my blessings - Anna Hill
