I will never forget the unconditional friendship and kindness Valerie extended to me at a difficult time in my life. I will never forget the hours of laughter shared while working at WCC and beyond. Truly original, never to be duplicated. One of a kind. Rest well my friend.

I met Valerie Boxley at the womens prison where we both worked. She took me in like family like a sister. Valerie was such a strong lady. She took me under her wing, guided me, encouraged me, and taught me so many things. Valerie made me a better and stronger person. When my mother passed Valerie saw me through the grief of that. She was an angel. I am so sorry for the family's loss it is a loss to anyone who knew her but it is a gain to Heaven because I know she loved the Lord. I will always love and miss her. Rest in heaven.
