Victoria Williams Obituary

Victoria L. Williams age 77 years was born October 18, 1943. A lifelong resident of Gary, IN, born to the late Dan T. Owens and Fannie L. Owens (Lloyd). Vicky made her peaceful transition with her loving sons at her side on Monday, May 17, 2021. Victoria was a graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1962. She was a devoted member of St. James Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society, Gary Chapter. She was employed at The Methodist Hospital of Gary, IN, as a unit secretary until she retired. Vicky was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert L. "Red" Williams, parents Dan T. and Fannie L. Owens (Lloyd), sisters Viola "Peaches" White and Joyce Ann Bennett. Victoria leaves to cherish her precious memories sister Marion Threatt, 3 sons, Charles F. (Linda) Davis Jr., Tremayne T. Jolly and Travis T. (Rolanda) Jolly; Stepson Robert (Paralee) Eskew; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 9 to 11:00 am. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. all services at St. James Baptist Church, 1333 W. 25th Ave. Gary, IN 46407. Rev. James I. Robinson, Pastor. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park
