Harry Taylor Obituary

HARRY D. TAYLOR "Harry O" College Park, Georgia formerly of Gary, Indiana Harry Taylor passed away on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Southern Regional Hospital in Riverdale, Georgia. He was born in Gary, Indiana on March 14, 1938. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Taylor; two brothers, Herman and Jesse Taylor; and one sister, Willa Austin. Harry graduated from his Alma Mater Roosevelt High School in 1956. He served as an Air Traffic operator for the United States Air Force. He retired from the Budd Company in Gary, Indiana in 1982. He also retired as a Lt. Deputy Sheriff of the Fulton County Sheriff Dept, Atlanta, Georgia. He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Gwendolyn Taylor; four sons; four daughters; and countless relatives and friends who loved him. The Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the Woods Memorial Baptist Church, 5665 Old National Hwy., College Park, Georgia 30349 with Rev. Toney Mosley officiating. Funeral Services will also be held in Kentucky on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at Adams & Sons Mortuary, 306 Mechanic St, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240 Telephone (270) 886-2300 with Rev. Jesse Oldham, officiating. Interment at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
