I was so sorry and surprised to hear of Mrs. Brother's home-going. You may remember I worked with her at CBS as a teacher's aid. She was such a Godly woman and example to all of us. We will pray for comfort for the family and know she will be greatly missed.

Lindel,
I was so sorry to hear about Sharon. She was such a wonderful friend and co-worker at the Women's Center. She was such a dedicated worker but more importantly, Lindel, she was so devoted to you. The relationship the two of you had exemplified what God intended a marriage to be. Thank you for allowing me to share in that. What a privilege. Lindel, you and the girls along with your grandchildren are in my prayers. I love you!

Dear Lindel & family,
My deepest sympathy to you. Sharon was a godly woman, a Proverbs 31 woman. I am blessed to have met her and worked with her at the LCWC. Now, she is loving her Lord in new ways. God comfort you with the confidence that He has welcomed her home.

I am so very sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. I taught proudly at Calumet Baptist under Sharon's leadership, but she was so much more than a principal and mentor to me- she was my friend. When I left, we both promised to keep contact with each other and sadly life gets in the way sometimes and we lost contact. Sharon always had my back, she was a wonderful person, and even though I had only briefly met Twila and Tonya, I felt like I knew you because of all the stories she'd tell about you in her daily life and keep us all up to date with what was happening in your lives at the time. Lindel, it was the same with you, she loved you all so very much, she loved her church and pastor (Lionel and Stacy) and spoke SO very highly of you.
I feel an emptiness in my heart knowing that my friend has left us, she will be missed even more.
Lindel, Twila and Tonya--please know I am praying for you and your families so much at this time. May God be with you and may His presence be felt in a tangible way at this time.
Sincerely,
Robin Stemberg Hardy

Sharon Brothers will surely be missed by all her former students and friends. My daughter, Jenny, was a student of Mrs. Brothers for kindergarten and she could not have had a better first teacher. We praise the Lord for leading us to Calumet Baptist as Jenny's school. Because of Sharon Jenny LOVED school and today is studying to be a doctor.
Heaven is truly sweeter today because she has moved home!
My hearts breaks for her family and our prayers are with you. May it give you comfort that she was loved and appreciated by so many people. She touched many lives.
