Our condolences to Dr. V's family. Dr. V was a very compassionate and loving person. I had the pleasure of being one of her "workout" friends years ago. I loved her spirit and the passion she had for her church family, as well as, her kind heart. She had a smile that lit up the room and had conversations with you as if you were her best friend.
You will be missed Dr. V...May you Rest in Peace!!!

I have known Vercena for over 50 years. We would lose contact with each through out the years but we always manage to find each. She said she always wanted to be like me but little did she know I wanted to be like her. She always had a great spirit about her. To the Stewart and Dungy family you have my deepest sympathy. You losted your Mother and I losted and lifelong friend.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Vercena. I first met her when I started at Dcfs in 1975. Vercena loved her children then husband and family. We would often have fun conversations and met with her beautiful smile. I'm praying in the days ahead her family will find peace and the answers they need. Vercena knew God for herself and will now receive what he promised Eternal life. Stay in prayer we are all praying with and for each of you. A Mother's love is forever.

To The Family of Vercena Dungy:
Let us remember that our physical death isn’t the end, but rather is a step forward in our Heavenly Father’s plan and a time of indescribable joy for the person making the transition. When you’re the ones left behind—the ones losing a loved one—the pain of that loss is very real. But there’s a lot of comfort in knowing you’ll see them again. May God bless your family.
