Paul Kiffe Obituary

Paul Kiffe

- - Paul Kiffe went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2018, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Paul was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and a hard work ethic.

Paul, the son of Harold and Ardyth Kiffe, was born on February 28, 1948, in Appleton, Wisconsin. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1966. He earned a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University before moving out to the Pacific Northwest in 1971. He also earned a MBA from Pacific Lutheran University. He spent his entire 34 year career at Weyerhaeuser culminating in a Vice President position. Paul was well respected for his fairness and leadership abilities.

Paul met his wife Shari while in college and they enjoyed 48 years of marriage. They committed their lives to Jesus Christ and demonstrated a wonderful example of a God-centered marriage to their children and grandchildren. They ministered in the areas of marriage, family, parenting, and leadership. This included foreign missions to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Australia, and Peru.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Shari Kiffe, his children: Sean Kiffe (MaryEllen), Melissa Higginbottom (Colin), Brian Kiffe (Tracy), Jason Kiffe (Leyla); his brother Dennis Kiffe (Kathy), his sister Cathy Kramer, 11 grandchildren, and other extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Robert Kiffe. A memorial service to honor and remember Paul's life will be held at Northwest Church in Federal Way, WA.

Losing Paul was a very sad moment in my life. He was an exceptional friend and co-worker. He played a big part of my 30 year career with Weyerhaeuser. There are not many people that are as straight forward and honest as Paul. I still think of him alot.

It was truly a sad day when Paul left Weyerhaeuser. Not only was it a privilege to have worked for him, but he was one of my best friends. I don't think I ever met anyone that was as considerate or as fair as Paul. I missed him at Weyerhaeuser, but miss him even more now. The world would be a much better place with more people like Paul. - Steve Storms

There are very few truly good men that I have known. Paul was one of the best. He was a good friend, a good husband, a good father, a good employee, a good boss and a good Christian. He was generous, kind, thoughtful and considerate. It was my pleasure knowing him and I will miss him. Steven Storms
