Gerald Wolfgram Obituary
Gerald "Gerry" Wolfgram, age 69, of Kaukauna, left this world on May 12, 2016, at his home, after a two year battle with colon and liver cancer. His strong faith in God, his wife Harriet, daughter Tracie, his family and friends helped him through these tough years.
Gerry proudly served his country in United States Army beginning in 1969. He was discharged three years later as an E5. On March 1, 1984, Gerry became employed with AAL/Thrivent Financial as a Financial Representative, retiring on October 9, 2015. He loved helping his members and fellow representatives. Gerry loved life, his Corvette that he drove fast and put on many miles coast to coast; especially their trip on Route 66. He always said to Harriet, "stick with me, I'll take you on an adventure" — many adventures were shared.
Gerry will be missed by wife of 48 years, Harriet; daughter Tracie, Alphareta, GA; one brother Tom (Nancy) Wolfgram, Gillett, WI; two sisters, Connie (Dan) Sieverding, Tucson, AZ and Lana Prusick (Special Friend Scott Reif), Neenah; his Mother-in-Law, Lena Severson, Gillett; two sisters-in-law, Joyce (Tim) Woodward, Waxhaw, NC and Connie Severson (Special Friend Perry Dart), Green Bay; Niece and nephews; and a ton of friends. Gerry was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Florence Wolfgram and his Father-in-Law, Floyd Severson.
Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. on Monday May 16, 2016, at ALLELUIA LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6725 Elmro Rd. GreenLeaf, with Rev. Aaron Hutton officiating. There will be a visitation will be at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in St. John Riverside Lutheran Church Cemetery, 5686 State Highway 32, Gillett, Wisconsin.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to doctors, nurses, staff at Froedtert Hospital and Fox Valley Oncology, Theda Care Home Care and Heartland Hospice, for their loving care through this journey. I WORKED WITH GERRY AT THE BANK AND HE ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH. I HAD NO IDEA WHERE HE LIVED THESE DAYS AND THAT HE WAS SICK. MY CONDOLENCES TO YOUR FAMILY.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Wolfgram at Security First National Bank - Your Tall Friend Downtown in Sheboygan. Above all else, he was a person of integrity. I will always remember him for that. Rest in peace my friend.

Bank and with AAL. He was a person I could always trust in all of the contacts that I had with him.

A light has gone out in our midst. Our dear friend will be sorely missed. His heart for Jesus and passion for stewardship were an encouragement to us all. Gerry will be missed in our neighborhood. Our son has helped to mow his lawn the last few summers. He really enjoyed the time he got to go for a ride in his corvette. He was such a kind and gentle man.

Gerry will be missed dearly. His extended kindness to allow our girls & the neighbor girl to fish in the pond behind his home will never be forgotten. Its not everyday that you meet someone and immediately connect with them. We will miss seeing him drive his Corvette and sit outside on the weekend's grilling out.
