Ashley Mielke Obituary
Appleton - Ashley Marie Mielke, age 27 of Appleton passed away unexpectedly on May 1st, 2018. She was born in Appleton on April 24th, 1991 to Robert and Jill (Maas) Mielke. Ashley graduated from Appleton West High School in 2009. She went on to get her LPN diploma from Fox Valley Technical College.
Ashley's passion and dedication to her residents over the last nine years has shined through at her position with Theda Care at Peabody Manor. Ashley will always be remembered for her beautiful long brown hair which she has donated seven times throughout her life to Locks of Love. She had a love for animals, especially her beloved dogs Macey and Bella. Ashley enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved to go boating in Fremont with her family on her father's pontoon boat. In her younger years she was on the cheerleading team for her high school in addition to being a part of the basketball team and volleyball team at her middle school.
Ashley will be deeply missed by her Mother and Father Jill and Robert Mielke, her sister, Haley Mielke; by her maternal grandparents Judith and Bill Maas; by her paternal grandparents Marie and August Mielke. She is further survived by her godfather and Uncle, Cary (Sheila) Maas and Godmother and Aunt, Mary (Mike Stewart), Ken (Sue) Mielke, Dave (Wanda) Mielke, Dennis (Ruth) Mielke and many cousins, friends and her boyfriend, Mario McCray.
Her memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St., Appleton, with the Rev. Michael L. Huff officiating. Ashley's family will receive relative and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
We are so sorry this had to happen to you Peanut. You will always be in our hearts forever, love Mom, Dad and Haley.

So sad and sorry to read of Ashley's passing. She went above and beyond tending to every detail as she cheerfully cared for my mother who was recently recuperating at Peabody. Ashley's compassionate and outstanding service will be long remembered by our family. Prayers of comfort and peace as you grieve this huge loss.
