Norma Sue and Mort were both part of my mother's group, and I remember them both fondly. When I married, they brought Amita into the circle. I remember the nickname "Normal Sue" yet she was quite extraordinary, and everyone knew that. Bright, articulate, and "with it," Norma Sue was always young and active in our eyes. Our apologies for not writing sooner, but we just learned of this and are responding immediately.
With love to her children,
Ted and Amita Preisser

So very sorry, I will miss seeing your mother in the neighborhood. Norma was always smiling and very friendly.

Norma Sue was part of my parents' circle of friends. It was a great circle of people; none of them was more lively or more fun than Norma Sue. She could also be serious and deeply sympathetic as open to our generation as the one she belonged to.
I am grateful to have known her.
My condolences to family and friends who miss her now.

Norma was a very dear friend of mine and I will miss her. She always managed to bring a smile to my face whenever I saw her. I worked with her for several years at URA and she was always very supportive and helpful. I know she loved her family dearly and I offer my most sincere condolences to them. I hope it brings comfort to them to know she was loved by so many friends. Most sincerely,Jerilyn Donahoe(Now living in Fort Mill, SC)

Feisty, funny, fiery 'till the end. A pioneer. She will be missed by many.

I worked with Norma for a short time at the URA of Pittsburgh. She was great to work with and loved her family so very much. My deepest sympathy.

Dear Amy, Maggie and Josh,
I will be with you in spirit tomorrow and send you all my love and sympathy as you celebrate the full, well-lived life of your mom. She was a unique, zesty woman who observed closely, and commented judiciously and with humor. Love to all of you, Susie
