MATTHEW A.
Age 27, passed away unexpectedly, at home on Saturday, March 5, 2016, of Bethel Park. Beloved son of Michael and Donna; cherished brother of Dr. Mike and Dr. Meaghan Tranovich; also survived by his grandmother, Frances Salsburey; special aunt Irene, Katona; and dozens of loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Matt graduated with high honors from Seton-La Salle High School, graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in science and proudly attended Pitt Law School for one year. He loved the outdoors he was an excellent downhill skier, a natural fisherman and he was fascinated with astronomy. He loved playing sports and watching Penn State football, Steelers football and March Madness. He loved shoes, watches and movies. Music became his solace. He was known for his charm, intelligence, wit, attention to detail and love of children. He will be sadly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Germaine Church. So sorry to hear about the loss of this young man. I met him while in rehab at Greenbriar back in October and we were both so enthusiastic about beating this disease that is taking so many young men and women. My condolences to his family, and close friends. I may not have known him for a long time, but I knew him long enough to see he had a huge heart and cared greatly for those close to him. It truly hurts my heart to see another person I knew be taken much to early by this disease. You will be missed immensely Matt.

Our deepest sympathy is extended towards the Tranovich family at this difficult time. We were honored to have known Matthew as a member of the "Tigers" traveling baseball team which is a source of so many memories. Known as a "team player" Matthew demonstrated respect not only for his peers, but also for the opponents.
