Well Gidget, It has been almost a year and I still miss you terribly. I am reminded of you when certain things happen in my day to day life. I still can see your smiling face and how you would make me laugh threw the good and the bad times. To the McDermott family as the day's approach closer to the one year of her passing, I want you to know that you are always in my prayer's . I love you all and I am here if you need anything.

I went to high school with Bridget and I can't believe it's been almost a year since she has passed. I was shocked and very saddened to hear the news. I regret some of the small things that got between us in school as it now is all so juvenile. The fact that I will now never be able to apologize to her will always be with me. Bridget was a wonderful person and she will truly be missed. I will always remember her smile and the fun that she had during football games. My thoughts and prayers are with Bridget's family and friends.

To the family: Today, January 11, 2007 I caught wind of the horrible news of your loss. I am deeply sorry to hear. My heart goes out to you. From the first time I met Bridget, she was warm and welcoming. I came into a new environment and Bridget took me under her wing. I will always remember her, she is greatly missed.

Bridget was like a sister to me and was definately part of our family. We rode our Bigwheels together down the alley when we were just little. She came on family vacations with us in high school. She was a wonderful friend. She was so full of life and made everything we did so much fun.
To her family: You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I found out today that my angel from so long ago was taken home.I remember the day when my cousin Carrie brought this angel over to play with us.So many years ago, but the tears and the smiles make it seem like yesterday.I fell in love with this girl from the moment I saw those eyes and that smile. Of course we can't forget about those funny faces she would always make...
She showed me at such a young age what love really was. It's amazing through the years nothing changed. She was 29, I'm 30 and we still made faces at each other whenever we saw one another.I'm such a better person for knowing you sweetheart.Thank you for letting me share with everyone how special your daughter and sisters life really meant to me.I miss you dearly and you will always be kept close in my heart. You and your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers. No good-byes cutie, just see you later.

Time hurts, and then heals. Bridget watches over all of us, and keeps us all safe. She will eternally do what she was meant to, be an angel. She will remain beautiful and unaffected by life's tragedies. And when it is our time, she will meet us with her smile to give us our wings. Although her body is gone, her spirit certainly lives on...in every one of us. Accept, but never forget... That's what I try to do every day. It's been a month, and I miss her more each day. But, that only makes our bond stronger for when we meet again...when we all meet her again...

B & I went to Sawyer together. Before that we went to rival schools and I remember seeing her at the sporting events. Now how can you miss that curly blonde hair and huge blue eyes! When I met her at Sawyer we had a great time going out dancing almost everyday of the week & weekend. She was so much fun, she knew how to have a good time. We hadn’t talked for several years but I had just contacted her to tell her about my baby boy and we talked just like it was yesterday. She was so down to earth and such a good person. She would do anything for anyone. She will be sadly missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

I knew Bridget thru bowling and it's not the same w/o her. The same group of us would hang out after we would get done bowling. It's still hard to believe I was hanging out with her just hours before she died. We miss her in the league. She won't be forgotten. My prayers go out to all of her family & friends.

I remember Bridget from when I was in High School. We never spoke then, but I ran into her again when she and I ended up working together at Philthy Mcnasties. We talked only a little but it left an everlasting impression of a very beautiful person, that touched all those around her including this stranger. I just regret not knowing her better. I send my sympathies and prayers to her family and friends.

Every Tuesday, I'd see Bridget and we and a group of friends would hang out and play darts. When it was my turn, it went something like this...20, 20, Double 20...PUNCH! Yes, Bridget would punch me in the arm everytime and say "YOU DO THAT EVERY WEEK!!! STOP IT!!!" Well, there is something that she did everyweek as well, made me smile. Never could you not smile when you were around Bridget. So, although she is gone, she has left behind something that could never be replaced...all the memeories that will make me smile now until I see her again.

To Bridget's Family,
I wish to express my sincere sympathy to everone with your loss. Bridget and I met about 8 years ago through Theresa. She was a extremely wonderful person which I have always felt honored to have known. This Earth lost one great young lady and we will all suffer a great void with her being God. At least I will take enjoyment in knowing someday we will weet again in a much better place. I will forever have a void in my heart as well as there will forever be some of her love in my heart. She will never be forgotten. I had the pleasure of meeting her cousin a few years ago so I would like to extend an extra hug to her. You are a special family and I will pray for you to all accept things as they are and please keep in mind our Bridget is in good hands and will always be smiling down and watching over you.

To Bridgett's Family,
When I first read the message that stated, "Bridgett meant so much to our family", I knew right away that it had to be a message from someone in my family, and it was. It was my niece Kristen. Bridgett was best friends with my other niece Jill. I had to laugh remembering the story Kristen told about Bridgett smashing cake in Jacob's face on his first birthday. Anytime our family had a party, she was there to have a great time and to eat good grub. What a beautiful, beautiful girl. Her looks along with her smile were so captivating. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you in your time of sorrow. She will be sadly missed by all of us.
Much Love & Many Blessings,

To Bridget's family,
When I heard the news I was so shocked, I haven't talked to Bridget for years and now totally regret it. Bridget was one of my best friends, who stood beside me in my wedding. We went to Sawyer School together, and I feel so blessed to have been able to call Bridget a friend. She was so beautiful and caring. You couldn't be around her and not smile. You raised a wonderful woman and she will be missed by so many. She has touched so many lives and is now up in heaven, a beautiful angel. One day we will all be reunited again.

To Bridget’s family,
Although Bridget and I haven't talked in some time, we did live together for 2 years. Like most roommates we had our differences, but one thing always remained a constant, our faith in the lord. I know for a fact, whole-heartedly she is exactly where we talked about many times. The heaven Bridget described to me always made me smile and brought a calming serenity to my heart and mind. She taught me so many invaluable life lessons that I carry on to this day, through that her life, will live on.

I went to St Malachy with Bridget. I didn't have many friends as I was sort of the "class pick on". But Bridget was my friend. She sat with me on the bus, and although we were a year apart in school, she made all the difference in my world. Because of her..at such that young age...school was bearable. To hear that she has passed, my tears are falling right along with yours. I haven't seen her in so many years, but I remember how she made me feel at a time I really needed a friend. I am so sorry for you loss and I pray for God to comfort you and guide you. I pray that your memories of times shared stay vivid. She was a beautiful person.

To the McDermott family,
I was on the vikettes with Bridget back in highschool. She was always so happy, smiling and always there to lend a hand. Even though her and I were not all that close, I looked up to her in many ways. Its funny how our life path took both of us on quite the sams journeys in certain situations, however, to have her gone and I here is something I can't seem to understand. She looked beautiful today as I knelt down beside her, and knew that someday my path would lead back to her. May all her family and friends know how many lives bridget had affected and may you all know that GOD is keeping her safe now until you can be with her again. GOD BLESS!!

I can not express in words what Bridget meant to our family. Bridget and my sister (Jill Doerr) have been friends as long as I can remember. She was at my nephew Jacob’s first birthday and smashed cake all in his face. I can still see this in my mind; it plays like a movie, every time someone mentions Bridget. She was a wonderful woman and will be a wonderful Angle in heaven. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. She was a blessing to everyone she touched.
